CAMPING
We have plenty of places to set-up camp for the weekend in Wandoan! Bring your tents, caravans or even park up in your car and set up your home away from home! Below we have a list of paid and FREE sites for camping.
We ask that you respect the land you're staying on. This includes keeping it clean from litter, cleaning up food scraps and disposing of them appropriately and not damaging any local fauna or objects.
Please also show some love for our local wildlife and respect their habitat.
LOCATIONS:
LOCATION 1 - WANDOAN SHOWGROUNDS
- Stay close to the action and camp onsite for the event. Camping available Friday and Saturday nights. Powered and unpowered sites available and secured on a first in, first served basis. $20 per night, or stay two for $30. Camping can be purchased with your admission tickets.
LOCATION 2 - JUANDAH HISTORICAL SITE (Courtesy Bus will be picking up/dropping off all day)
- There is plenty of space at Juandah Historical Site with a courtesy bus running to and from the showgrounds on the day. Enquiries can be made via 0475 435 737
LOCATION 3 - WATERLOO PLAINS ENVIRONMENTAL PARK (Courtesy Bus will be picking up/dropping off all day)
- A free camp located in town with a courtesy bus running to and from the showgrounds on the day.
Please note that while the Wandoan Camel Races promotes camping options available in our town, we are not responsible for these sites in any way.
